You can delete your Renzam account and all associated data at any time. This page explains exactly how, what gets deleted, and how long it takes.
Option 1 — From the app
The fastest way:
- Open Settings
- Scroll to "Your account"
- Tap "Delete my account"
- Confirm with your password
Option 2 — By email
If you cannot access the app, email privacy@renzam.app from the email on your account with the subject line "Delete my account". We verify your identity and complete deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Profile — name, bio, prompts, photos, videos, stories
- Matches, spark requests, and swipe history
- Messages you sent (messages you sent to others are deleted from their view too)
- Calls metadata
- Verification data — selfies and ID documents
- AI Aura and AI Concierge conversations
- Trusted contacts and safety check-ins
- Push notification tokens
What we may keep
We retain the minimum needed for legal, safety, and anti-abuse reasons:
- Safety reports you filed or that were filed against you (kept for community safety)
- Payment records required by tax and accounting law
- Backups — purged from rolling backups within 90 days
How long it takes
Account access is removed immediately. Full data deletion completes within 30 days. Backup purge completes within 90 days.
