Renzam is a premium dating and social connection app. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We designed Renzam to hold as little personal data as possible while still keeping the community safe.
Account data
When you create an account we store your email, an encrypted password (managed by our authentication provider), your account creation date, and login history used for security.
Profile data
Your name, age, bio, prompts, interests, preferences, and any answers you add to your profile. This information is visible to other Renzam members you connect with.
Photos, videos, and stories
Images and short videos you upload for your profile, posts, moments, and stories. Story media auto-expires. You can delete uploaded media at any time from your profile.
Messages and calls
We store your one-to-one messages so you can read them across devices. For voice and video calls we only store metadata — participants, start and end time, duration, and status. We do not record or listen to your calls.
Location
Location is optional. When enabled, we use approximate location to show nearby matches and Live Vibes. We do not share your precise coordinates with other users.
Phone verification
Phone numbers used for verification are stored privately and never shown on your public profile. They are used only to confirm you are a real person and to help recover your account.
AI Aura
AI Aura crafts your introduction from information you provide (prompts, interests, photos you choose to include). Aura output is stored with your profile. You can regenerate or delete it at any time.
AI Concierge
Concierge is your private coach. Your conversations with Concierge are private to you. Private message analysis is off by default — Concierge only reads your matches' messages when you explicitly opt in, and you can revoke that consent at any time.
Safety reports
When you report a user or content, we store the report, the reason, and any evidence you provide. Reports are reviewed by our safety team and may be shared with law enforcement where required by law.
Verification documents
Selfies and government IDs used for verification are stored in a private, encrypted bucket. They are visible only to our verification reviewers and are used solely to confirm identity. They are never shown on your profile.
Push notifications
If you enable notifications we store a device push token used to deliver alerts about matches, messages, calls, and safety events. You can disable notifications from your device settings at any time.
Payments
Payments for Renzam Premium are processed by our payment providers (App Store, Google Play, or Stripe). We store subscription status and receipts. We never see or store your card number.
Account deletion
You can delete your account from Settings → Data & privacy at any time. Deletion removes your profile, photos, messages, and verification data. See data deletion for details.
Data export
You can request an export of your data by emailing privacy@renzam.app. We will respond within 30 days.
Who we share data with
- Other members — only the profile info you choose to share
- Service providers — hosting, authentication, payments, moderation
- Law enforcement — only when legally required, or to prevent imminent harm
